Prime Season

Our prime season is December 1 - April 1.

In prime season, we offer 1 week or 2 week stays, except for our site #9. 

We do not split up weeks in prime season or offer stays of less than a week, except for in site #9.

Last minute site availability due to late cancellations will be offered by email to those on the waiting list. If you are in South Florida and would consider coming on short notice, please check your email often.

  · Due to extremely high demand we have an extensive waiting list for RV sites in December, January, February, and March. 

• On average, it usually takes 2 or 3 years on the waiting list before a site becomes available, if someone is open to taking an alley site  It often takes considerably longer if they are not willing to stay in an alley site.

•  If you are making plans for this season, it is unlikely you will get a reservation here during Prime Season.  Anything is possible, but we seldom have cancellations for Prime Season. 

· Your Membership must be verified for you to be placed on the waiting list. You need to be registered with Elks.org, and be locatable in the “Online User Directory” for our Membership verification system to find you. To see if you are locatable, go to the  Member Directory,  search your last name, and scroll down. If you can't find you, neither can our Membership verification system.

• If you do not want to be in the Member Directory  on elks.org, we can keep a photo of your current Membership card on file.  You may either stop in and present your current Membership card to the RV Park manager to be photographed , or photograph your current  Membership card and text it to us at 305-339-8957.
• Membership cards photos will be deleted once they expire.  Members whose cards expire will be removed from the waiting list. It is each Members responsibility to stop in or send a  photo  of  their  new card before April 1 to maintain their place on the list.

· From time to time, when demand is high, we may create waiting lists for other months. When we do, the same procedures will apply.

· The Waiting List Request form may be submitted at any time.

· Lists last 1 year, and new list will begin at the start of each Elks year (April 1st).  Members are allowed 1 waiting list entry each.

· If you are already on the Waiting List, requests must be submitted each year in March  to keep your date from the previous year’s list. The deadline for submitting the “Waiting List Request” form is March 31st of each year to keep your date.

· Lists will continue to be based on the date you originally requested placement on the waiting list.

· When prime season sites become available, they will be filled exclusively from the waiting list, and offered first to the person on the list the longest.

· If you receive a stay, or decline an offer of a stay that you requested (with 90 days or more notice);

         o Your name will be removed from the waiting list for that year. You WILL NOT be called twice in the same year.

         o You may submit a “Waiting List Request” form to be placed on the next-year’s waiting list.

         o Your waiting list date going forward will be the date that you submit the new “Waiting List                Request” form.

· Waiting list offers are not based on site preference, only RV size and type.

        o When regular sites become available, they are offered first to those with existing reservations in the alley.

        o You may request that we not contact you about alley sites, but that will likely have a drastic effect on the time you spend on the waiting list.

· We do not allow Members to reserve more than 1 site per Prime season, and therefore we cannot accommodate waiting list requests for multiple sites. Members may only request one (1) site on the waiting list. 

· You must remain an Elk in good standing to retain your waiting list date. 

        o Elks not in good standing will be removed from the waiting list.

        o Anything that makes you no longer an Elk in good standing, such as suspension, delinquent dues, etc. affects the waiting list.

        o Once good standing is restored, you may complete the “Waiting List Request” form to be placed on the waiting list. Your new waiting list date will be the date you complete the new form.
